A Captain that America Deserves and Needs

Many of us either have already or are probably eagerly planning activities for the upcoming Fourth of July weekend.  It’s a day to celebrate America’s independence and a day to remember our colors and the values they represent which make this country great.  If we could wrap all of that and represent it as a superhero, we’d get nothing less than Captain America.

July 4th celebrations usually include picnics, barbecues, baseball games, and, of course, fireworks.  The fireworks bedazzle us with the colors of red, white, and blue.  White signifies purity and innocence.  Red, hardiness & valour, and Blue signifies vigilance, perseverance & justice.  Our troops serve and protect us each day and they are our superheroes who stand up for those values and are our Captain Americas.

Our vision for these Captain America socks is to retain his essence and his symbolism to America.  Every superhero suits up in their uniform and amour when heading into battle.  You’ll notice the intricate details of the hard and protective scales surrounding the shell of socks.  The star and rings are part of his legendary indestructible shield.  You’ll notice the white sparks and debris scattered all around in all directions.  That’s the Captain’s shield protecting us against bullets and explosions from the battle.  The A is for all of us to be proud of.  And of course, the whole package is wrapped in the red, white, and blue.
