About the sock prints
We use a process called dye sublimation for our socks printing. The great thing about this technology is that it provides the ability to transfer clear high quality images in high resolution onto a pair of socks. The transfer process retains a bright, colorful, and vibrant image on the finished product.
We start with a pair of blank white socks. The print areas of the socks are only on the white portions. We cannot print anything on the black areas. We are able to print all colors and images in CMYK. However, we do not recommend using black or other dark colors as base color of the socks. When the socks are stretched, there will be white lines that show between the seam knitting that will cause background color breaks. These lines are more apparent with darker colors and that is why we do not recommend a darker base color.
For the best print on your socks, we recommend higher resolution images. The higher the image resolution, the clearer your printed socks will be. If the images are too small, the print may not be as clear or even distorted.
